Elaine Whyte ARNP


      My name is Elaine Whyte and my friends call me Scotty as I was born and raised in Dundee Scotland. I have been a nurse for over 30 years. I moved to the United States in 1999 after working with the United States Department of the Navy. I became a US citizen in 2006. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner completing my Masters at West Texas A&M University in Canyon Texas and my PhD in Nursing Science at Texas Woman's University in Denton Texas. I moved to Florida in 2014. My philosophy is Honesty, Integrity, Truth and Respect and I incorporate that in my daily life as well as clinical practice. I give hugs freely. I am an animal lover and have two furry friends one of which is a rescue. I enjoy walking and Zumba.

Lyra McGuire Surrency ARNP


      My name is Lyra McGuire Surrency. I stared my nursing career 11.5 years ago at Shands in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as a graduate of Santa Fe Collage of nursing. While working I went on to get my bachelors degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University. I then went on to complete my Masters in nursing from Maryville university. While in school I was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau international nursing honors society. I am currently board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. I am a proud member of this community. My husband is a law enforcement officer in the area and we have three children two of which attend school in Alachua county. I strive to provide the best up to date care for all my patients and their families. I look forward to serving the county and all of its needs.
